The very heart of what a residential real estate agent in Texas does is assist clients in negotiating the TREC 1-4 Family Residential Contract (Resale). This course will hone the skills necessary for agents to provide that service. Included in this course is a paragraph by paragraph discussion of the issues to be negotiated and different approaches to be used in advocating a client’s position all the while moving to a final agreement between the parties. Other topics include when an offer becomes a contract, when an offer may be withdrawn, how to handle multiple offers, and more.
